Replenishing Arrows are a special arrow type in Crimson Desert that slowly regenerate over time after being fired. They are one of the earliest upgrades available for bow users and serve as a reliable way to maintain arrow supplies without constantly purchasing or crafting ammunition. The arrows feature an enhanced design that allows broken arrows to be recovered and reused, making them an excellent early-game investment for any player who relies on ranged combat.
Unlike standard arrows that are consumed permanently when fired, Replenishing Arrows have a built-in regeneration mechanic. After shooting these arrows, they slowly return to the player's inventory over time during normal gameplay. This means that a player can fire a volley of arrows, switch to melee combat or exploration, and gradually recover those arrows without visiting a merchant or gathering materials.
Replenishing Arrows are unlocked through the Research system at Pororin Village (also called Porin or Pin Village) (also known as the Porin or Poran area). They represent one of the best early-to-mid-game solutions for maintaining a steady arrow supply before obtaining Infinite Arrows I or Infinite Arrows II.
Unlocking Replenishing Arrows requires accessing the Research system at Pororin Village. This involves a multi-step quest chain, since the village is guarded by forest guardians known as the Porin people.
Travel south from Hernand to the cluster of villages in the region. Pororin Village is located in the Porin forest area.
Attempt to enter the village. The forest guardians (the Porin people, also called the Shy people) will stun Kliff and drag him away from the village entrance. This triggers the quest "The Unreachable Village."
Complete "The Unreachable Village" quest. This involves finding an alternative way to approach the village after being turned away.
Complete the follow-up quest "Unauthorized Access," which provides the knowledge needed to gain entry into Pororin Village without being stopped by the guardians.
Once inside Pororin Village, locate the Petalon Workshop. This building is identified by a swirly icon on the map and serves as the hub for the Research system.
Complete a small introductory request at the Petalon Workshop (such as collecting herbs or similar materials) to unlock the Research interface.
Begin the very first research project. This initial research unlocks Replenishing Arrows and adds them to the player's inventory.
If the NPC who initiates the research quest is not at the initial location in Pororin Village, head to the Pororin Workshop instead. Speak with the character there and they will give the quest "Herbs of Vitality", which requires collecting lavender from the fields south of the village.
Return the lavender to the workshop, then complete the associated research task. Once the research finishes, Replenishing Arrows are unlocked and available for use.
Replenishing Arrows refill passively over time but are capped at 20 arrows. After the quiver is depleted, there is a cooldown period before arrows begin regenerating again. Replenishing Arrows operate on a slow regeneration timer. After firing arrows in combat, the player does not get them back immediately. Instead, the arrows trickle back into the inventory over time as the player continues playing, whether fighting enemies, exploring, or completing quests. The regeneration happens passively in the background.
The base supply starts small, but each subsequent research project at the Petalon Workshop increases the maximum number of Replenishing Arrows the player can carry. Even research projects that appear to focus on other topics (such as palm leaves or other materials) will also slightly increase the replenishing arrow supply as a secondary benefit.

The Petalon Workshop offers a series of research projects. The first project directly unlocks Replenishing Arrows. Every subsequent project, regardless of its primary focus, also contributes a small increase to the player's maximum replenishing arrow count. Completing all available research tiers brings the total capacity to 50 arrows.
This progression system encourages players to invest in multiple research branches rather than ignoring the workshop after the initial unlock. Each tier provides incremental improvements, and reaching the full 50-arrow capacity requires completing several projects over the course of the mid-game.
Replenishing Arrows are most valuable during the early and mid-game when arrow supplies are limited and gold is better spent on equipment upgrades.
Use Replenishing Arrows as your primary arrow type for general exploration and minor encounters. Save purchased or crafted arrows for boss fights and tougher battles where burst damage matters.
Since regeneration is slow, avoid relying entirely on Replenishing Arrows during sustained combat. Switch between melee weapons and bow attacks to give your arrow supply time to recover.
Prioritize completing research projects at the Petalon Workshop whenever you return to Pororin Village. The incremental increases to your arrow cap add up significantly over time.
Once you acquire Infinite Arrows I (40% chance not to consume arrows) or Infinite Arrows II (60% chance), Replenishing Arrows become less critical. However, they still serve as a useful backup layer that ensures you never run completely dry.
Replenishing Arrows is unlocked by researching at the Pororin Research Institute, located in the Shy Village inside the Pororin Village area, southeast of Hernand. The short intro quest knocks you out and puts you to sleep before letting you into the institute, so follow the quest line to the end first.
Inside the research tree, the unlock order is:
1. Nature's Harmony: unlocks Replenishing Arrows as a usable skill.
2. Palmar Leaf Research: slightly increases the maximum replenishing arrow capacity.
3. Plant Combination Research (directly right of Palmar Leaf): greatly increases the maximum capacity.
With both capacity upgrades researched, Replenishing Arrows caps at 50 and regenerates over time. Spamming shots too quickly will still empty the pool, but for the vast majority of encounters it plays as functionally infinite without consuming an Abyss Gear slot. That makes it a strong alternative (or complement) to an Infinite Arrows build, especially if you are not ready to commit two slots to tier II plus tier III gears.
