Initial version (2026-04-22): Blowpipes overview and the Soporific Blowpipe.
Blowpipes are a specialty ranged weapon category in Crimson Desert. They fire poison darts rather than arrows or bullets, and at launch the category contains only one confirmed weapon.

Unlike conventional bows, blowpipes specialize in sleep and incapacitation rather than raw damage. The Soporific Blowpipe's sleeping effect is strong enough to put even large monsters like trolls into a temporarily disabled state, creating openings for melee follow-ups from a hidden position.
