Queen's Fangs
April 6, 2026 at 05:03 PM
Major expansion: added Queen Spider boss source, combat mechanics, polearm build synergy, crafting recipe
Queen's Fangs is a Unique Abyss Gear in Crimson Desert. When activated, it sprays spider venom forward in a spread pattern, dealing damage to all enemies hit. The venom applies a brief poison effect that deals damage over time, visible as purple globs dripping from affected enemies.
Queen's Fangs is activated by holding Skill 3. At close range, all three projectiles can hit a single target simultaneously, making it surprisingly effective in boss fights when you can get up close. The abyss gear is especially potent when paired with polearm charge stab combos, since every charge stab triggers the effect and the quick follow-up pokes allow for rapid re-activation.

There are two ways to get Queen's Fangs:
Queen Spider Boss: Defeat the Queen Spider at Arboria Castle during the House Celeste faction quest "Restarting the Elixir Factory." This quest becomes available relatively early in the Hernand faction progression.
Crafting: Can be crafted at any Witch vendor using Destruction I x1, Insight I x1, Vitality I x1, and Composure I x1.
Queen's Fangs works particularly well in polearm builds centered around the charge stab mechanic. With a halberd equipped, the light attack combo transitions into a stab that triggers all equipped Unique Abyss Gears. Since the charge stab can be chained repeatedly (light attack triple poke into stab, then repeat), Queen's Fangs fires its poison spray on every stab in the chain. This creates a constant stream of poison damage on top of the stab's base damage.
Pairing Queen's Fangs with other stab-triggered gears like Piercing Bloom and Crow Storm creates a devastating combo where each charge stab triggers multiple unique effects simultaneously.
Stand as close as possible to your target so all three venom projectiles connect with the same enemy.
The poison damage over time stacks with direct weapon damage, making this gear effective even when individual hits seem small.
Queen's Fangs is one of the more accessible Unique Abyss Gears since the House Celeste quest line becomes available fairly early in Hernand.
