Overview

The Partridge is a small ground-hopping bird with brown and gray feathers found throughout Pywel. It is cataloged in the Knowledge System under the Lifeforms category as a flightless bird. Appearance

Partridges are compact, ground-level birds covered in mottled brown and gray plumage. Their coloring provides effective camouflage against the dirt and underbrush where they spend most of their time. They have short, rounded wings and stout legs suited for scurrying along the ground rather than sustained flight.

Location and Habitat

Partridges prefer grasslands, forest edges, and open fields across Pywel. They can be spotted hopping along the ground in groups, often near bushes or tall grass. They tend to scatter when approached, making quick dashes into nearby cover. Listen for rustling in the underbrush when exploring wooded areas near Hernand and surrounding regions.
