How to Obtain

The Little Metalmark Butterfly can be found in the Hernand woodlands, resting on plants and flowers. Butterflies in Crimson Desert tend to appear near flower patches and in open fields within forested areas. Approach slowly and interact to catch them by hand, as no special tool is needed.

Visual Identification

The butterfly is distinguished by its orange wings covered in evenly spread black spots. Along the spots and wing veins, thin silvery metallic lines catch the sunlight and sparkle. This metallic sheen makes the Little Metalmark easy to spot in bright daylight conditions.

Alchemy Uses

The Little Metalmark Butterfly is classified as a Natural Resource and serves as an alchemy reagent. When consumed raw, it grants Spirit +1. As a reagent in the alchemy system, insects like the Little Metalmark determine the base effect of the resulting elixir. Since its raw effect boosts Spirit, using it in a potion at a Cauldron will produce a Spirit-based elixir.

In Crimson Desert's alchemy system, if a material restores a specific stat when consumed raw, it produces an elixir with a similar effect when used as a reagent. This makes the Little Metalmark Butterfly valuable for crafting Spirit recovery elixirs.
