Overview

Leebur's Soul is a unique Memory-type soulstone in Crimson Desert, obtained as a key reward for defeating the legendary wolf Black Fang during the House Celeste faction questline in Hernand. The item is imbued with the lingering essence of a wolf named Leebur, whose sharpened senses and predatory awareness become accessible to whoever carries the stone.

When used from the inventory, Leebur's Soul permanently reveals every Legendary Animal location on the player's world map across Pywel, turning what would otherwise be a sprawling region-by-region hunt into a single consolidated tracking list. Most players use the item the moment they pick it up rather than saving it.

In-game flavor text describes Leebur's Soul as a soulstone imbued with Leebur's keen sense of smell and primal instincts, noting that the eyes of this wolf perfectly preserve the images of mystical beasts that remain unreachable to humans. Within those who resonate with this soul, Leebur's wild nature awakens. The fiction presents Leebur as a wolf whose gaze captured, almost photographically, the likenesses and whereabouts of the continent's most elusive creatures.

How to Obtain

1. Build House Celeste reputation. Complete enough standard Hernand Faction Quests (not bounty hunts) to unlock new House Celeste quest prompts.

2. Start Silence from Afar. This House Celeste faction quest begins the Legendary Wolf chapter. Travel to Hernand, follow the marker, speak with the woman near Springtide Mill, then head to the North Gate and speak with the soldier and Local Informant to progress.

3. Progress through the chain. The questline moves through Howls from North Gate and related objectives that send the player toward the Forest of Wolves.

4. Track Black Fang. Travel to the Forest of Wolves in Hernand, north of The Sage's Peak. Equip a Lantern and press L1 to activate it. A golden tracking line appears on the ground leading toward Black Fang's territory.

5. Clear the wolf pack. Before engaging Black Fang directly, eliminate the surrounding wolves so the boss fight is not complicated by ambient enemies.

6. Defeat Black Fang twice. The legendary wolf uses teleports and heavy slashing attacks. Roll away from his strikes and punish the recovery window. The first encounter causes Black Fang to flee, and he must be hunted and defeated a second time to complete the quest.

7. Collect the rewards. Black Fang drops Leebur's Soul along with the Shadow Claw Abyss Gear weapon, which unleashes three forward swipes with bonus damage.

Effects and Uses

Using Leebur's Soul from the inventory permanently unlocks the Legendary Animals knowledge entries and places map markers for every Legendary Animal location across the world, including:

• Silver Fang (the white wolf mount, spawns at Howling Hollow in Pailune after Black Fang is defeated)

• White Bear

• Snowwhite Deer

• All legendary horses

• Remaining legendary creatures across the continent

The effect is a one-time permanent reveal. Once consumed, the knowledge stays in the bestiary and the markers persist on the map. It does not grant an active combat buff or equippable passive. The Leebur's wild nature awakens phrasing is flavor text referring to the in-fiction attunement rather than a mechanical stat bonus.

Tips

• Use it immediately. There is no benefit to hoarding Leebur's Soul. Consuming it the moment you leave the Forest of Wolves gives you maximum value from the tracking data.

• Plan a legendary hunt route. After activating the item, the map displays many new markers simultaneously. Sort them by region to chain multiple legendary beasts in one expedition.

• Do Silver Fang next. Silver Fang only spawns at Howling Hollow in Pailune after Black Fang is defeated, and lightning-element attacks stun it. It is the most immediately useful follow-up because it unlocks a permanent mount.

• Keep Shadow Claw equipped. The Abyss Gear weapon that drops alongside Leebur's Soul pairs well with the heavy legendary-animal hunts that follow.

• Complete faction quests before attempting. The Legendary Wolf questline does not appear until enough Hernand faction quests are cleared.

• Bring a Lantern. The tracking phase cannot be completed without one.
