Jijeong Temple in Chaos is the central puzzle sequence of Chapter 9: The Sage of the Desert. Kliff must repair three damaged pensive statues by finding their broken stone hands scattered around the temple grounds and using Axiom Force to reattach them. Each statue presents a different spatial puzzle.
Repair the first pensive statue (reattach one hand)
Repair the second pensive statue (reposition body and reattach hand)
Repair the third pensive statue (retrieve distant hand and reattach)
Report to the Chief Monk on the nearby isle
Locate the broken hand on the ground near the statue's base. Use Axiom Force to grab the hand and carry it toward the statue. Hover it near the attachment point and wait for a green indicator. When the green light appears, activate Force Current to snap the hand into place.
This statue's body is displaced from its platform. Use Axiom Force to grab the body and hover it above the platform until the green indicator appears. After positioning the body, climb on top of it and push it into its base using Force Current from above. Then find the hidden hand beneath a nearby cliff edge, pull it up with Axiom Force, and snap it into place.
The final hand is on a distant cliffside across a gap. Use Axiom Force to reach it from the edge of the temple grounds. The hand floats in the air when released near the statue, so there is no risk of it falling. Wait for the green light and trigger Force Current to complete the repair.
The Chief Monk has relocated to a nearby isle. Open your map, look for the updated quest marker, climb the marked cliff, and speak with him at the top. He explains that repairing the statues has weakened the evil spirit, but it must still be confronted through a series of trials scattered across the Serpent Marsh.
The key mechanic is watching for the green light indicator. Do not try to manually align pieces with precision; instead, wait for the snap.
All puzzles are solved entirely with Axiom Force. Practice Force manipulation if you have not used it recently.
