Comprehensive rewrite: add Tier 2 abyss details, 40% effect, Karandah guaranteed drop, Paloon quest chain access, boss fight tips, stacking mechanics
Infinite Arrows I is a Tier 2 Abyss Gear effect in Crimson Desert that provides a 40% chance not to consume arrows when firing a bow. It is one of the most sought-after abyss effects for ranged combat builds, as it dramatically reduces arrow consumption during extended fights. When combined with Infinite Arrows II (which provides 60%), the two effects stack to give a full 100% chance not to consume arrows, effectively granting unlimited ammunition.
Abyss Gear in Crimson Desert comes in multiple tiers, each offering increasingly powerful effects. Infinite Arrows I sits at Tier 2, making it a mid-tier effect that is realistically obtainable during the mid-game. Unlike many abyss effects that require luck-based crafting, Infinite Arrows I has a guaranteed source, making it one of the more accessible abyss gear pieces for bow-focused builds.
The 40% arrow conservation rate means that, on average, roughly 4 out of every 10 arrows fired will not be consumed. This significantly extends the player's ammunition supply during long dungeon runs, boss fights, and exploration sessions where visiting a merchant is impractical.
Infinite Arrows I is a guaranteed drop from defeating Karandah, the Queen of the Skies, a harpy boss located at the Nest of White Feathers. This makes it one of the few abyss gear effects that can be reliably farmed without depending on RNG crafting.
Build contribution with the Paloon militia by completing bounties and local quests in the Paloon area. Sufficient contribution is required to unlock the quest chain leading to the boss.
Follow the Paloon militia quest chain. The quests will gradually guide you deeper into harpy territory.
From Paloon, travel downhill past a sanctum, then continue upward past an Abyss Nexus. The path leads through increasingly dangerous harpy-infested areas.
Reach the Nest of White Feathers at the top of the area. This is where Karandah spawns.
Defeat Karandah to receive Infinite Arrows I as a guaranteed reward.
Karandah is a flying harpy boss that spends much of the fight airborne. Players familiar with similar encounters in other Pearl Abyss titles will recognize the attack patterns. Key strategies include:
Use a bow to deal consistent damage while Karandah is in the air. Melee weapons can only connect during her ground-phase attacks and when she is staggered.
Watch for dive-bomb attacks where she swoops down at high speed. Dodge to the side rather than backward, as her forward momentum covers significant distance.
When Karandah lands briefly to perform ground attacks, use heavy melee combos to deal burst damage and build up stagger.
Bring recovery items and sufficient arrows. The fight can be lengthy if relying primarily on ranged attacks.
Property | Value |
|---|---|
Tier | Tier 2 (Abyss Gear) |
Effect | 40% chance not to consume arrows when firing a bow |
Source | Guaranteed drop from Karandah, the Queen of the Skies |
Location | Nest of White Feathers (accessed via Paloon militia quests) |
Stacks With | Infinite Arrows II (60%) for a total of 100% |
The primary appeal of Infinite Arrows I is its ability to stack with Infinite Arrows II. When both effects are active simultaneously:
Infinite Arrows I: 40% chance not to consume arrows
Infinite Arrows II: 60% chance not to consume arrows
Combined: 100% chance not to consume arrows (effectively unlimited arrows)
Reaching 100% arrow conservation completely eliminates the need to buy, craft, or manage arrow supplies. This frees up inventory space and removes one of the main resource management concerns for dedicated archer builds. For this reason, most bow-focused players consider obtaining both Infinite Arrows tiers to be a core progression milestone.
Even at 40%, Infinite Arrows I significantly reduces arrow consumption. If you are using Replenishing Arrows alongside this effect, you may find that your arrows regenerate faster than you consume them during lighter encounters.
Prioritize the Paloon militia quest chain once you reach that area. The guaranteed drop makes this far more efficient than trying to craft a similar effect through the Witch's synthesis system.
If you have not yet obtained Infinite Arrows II, pair this effect with Replenishing Arrows to maintain a healthy arrow supply during extended play sessions.
