Moon Weapon Synergy: Grasping Moon is part of the Moon weapon trio, alongside Circling Moon and Diverging Moon. Each Moon weapon has a unique elemental sonic boom (fire, electric, and ice respectively). All three special gears can be extracted at a Witch vendor and embedded onto a single weapon. When combined, the weapon fires ice, fire, and electric sonic booms simultaneously, creating a devastating crossover effect. Collecting all three Moon weapons and merging their gears is one of the strongest spear setups in the game.
Make sure you have Keen Senses level 2 before picking up this weapon, or you will not be able to equip it immediately.
After the liberation cutscene, do not leave the area. Walk back in to find the weapon on the ground.
The fire sonic booms from Half Moon Slash explode on impact, making them particularly effective against clustered enemies. Use the explosions to deal area-of-effect damage to tightly packed groups.
