Overview

Fortress Keys is a main quest in Crimson Desert and the fourth mission of Chapter 11: Truth and Reality, part of the Brave New World sub-chapter. The documents recovered from Strange Manor point to a series of security mechanisms guarding the approach to a massive fortified structure. Before Kliff can proceed, he must locate and activate three "fortress keys" scattered across the Delesyia region. Each key is a mechanical device that, when activated, disables one layer of the fortress's defenses.

Quest Details

Key Objectives

• First key: Eastern tower. Travel to the tower on the eastern edge of Delesyia. Climb to the upper platform using external scaffolding. At the top, use Axiom Force to align the gears on the control panel until the mechanism clicks into place.

• Second key: Underground facility. Descend through a maintenance hatch beneath the industrial district. Navigate corridors, defeat guards stationed inside, then interact with the power terminal. Rotate connectors using directional prompts to route power to the correct output.

• Third key: Mini-boss fight. The final key is guarded by a mechanized soldier operating a steam-powered combat suit. Dodge its sweeping attacks and wait for the overheating phase when the suit vents steam and becomes vulnerable. Land heavy combos during the opening, then retreat before it recovers.

Notes

• With all three keys activated, a cutscene shows the defense barriers powering down in sequence.

• The Greymanes regroup at a forward camp as they prepare for the next phase of the operation.

• The first key puzzle requires careful gear alignment with Axiom Force; work methodically to avoid resetting connected gears.

• The steam-powered combat suit mini-boss is only vulnerable during its overheating phase. Be patient and wait for the opening.
