Firefly Lantern is a lantern in Crimson Desert. A legendary lantern passed down for generations in the Longleaf Forest. When its light shines, small firefly-like spirits rise and soothe wounds with a warm energy. Only those acknowledged by the spirits of the forest can obtain this lantern.

When the Firefly Lantern is turned on, it increases your passive healing rate. This means your character steadily regenerates health over time without consuming potions, food, or other healing items. The healing is not dramatic enough to replace dedicated healing during tough boss fights, but it provides a constant trickle of recovery that keeps you topped off between encounters and during exploration.
The lantern is obtained by completing quests in Paloon. After finishing the questline involving the delivery of news about Moren's defeat, the lantern becomes available as a reward.
The Firefly Lantern pairs naturally with bow builds, particularly the Bow of the Fleeting setup. Ranged players spend less time in melee range and take fewer hits, so the passive healing from the lantern is often enough to offset chip damage from stray projectiles or area attacks. This frees up inventory space that would otherwise go to healing consumables, letting you carry more combat supplies instead.
Lanterns provide illumination in dark areas and may have additional special effects.
Some lanterns are tied to the Abyss system and can be enhanced through refinement.
