Quest Details

Overview

Fire Support puts Kliff behind a cannon to turn the tide of the battlefield. Allied cannons are providing support from a nearby artillery battery, and with the odds shifting in your favor, you must destroy Black Bears watchtowers to liberate northern Calphade.

Walkthrough

Speak with the Soldier at the Gunsite

Travel north to the artillery tower where allied forces are positioned. Find the soldier with a yellow exclamation mark and speak with him to receive your orders.

Repair the Cannon

Interact with the cannon to repair its broken wheel mechanism. This is a simple interaction prompt, not a mini-game.

Destroy the Black Bears' Watchtowers

Use the repaired cannon to target and destroy four watchtowers identified by black smoke rising from them. Aim at the base of each tower and fire. A single direct hit should collapse each one, though hitting the side at an angle may require a second shot.

Tips

• Look for the columns of black smoke to identify watchtower locations. They are visible from the cannon position.

• Aim at the center of each tower for a clean one-shot kill. Glancing hits on the edges sometimes do not register as full hits.

• The 10 Whistling Arrows you receive as a reward are useful for the upcoming quests. Save them.
