Overview

The Field Sprayer is a farming tool in Crimson Desert used to water crops at the Greymane Camp farm. Water filled at the reservoir can be sprayed wherever needed to accelerate crop growth. The tool's spray is heavily affected by wind, so it is best to stand with your back to the wind while using it.

While crops will eventually grow on their own without watering, using the Field Sprayer noticeably shortens the time between planting and harvest. Skipping watering slows growth but does not kill the plants.

How to Obtain

There are two ways to get the Field Sprayer:

• Vellua Fisherman's Guild: Complete the Vellua Fisherman's Guild quest chain in Hernand. This quest line includes boss fights, so come prepared. The Field Sprayer unlocks automatically upon completion.

• Crafting: Can be crafted at the Blacksmith once you reach the highest camp level.

How to Use

• Equip the Field Sprayer in the same slot as your bow or fishing rod.

• Aim with the left trigger and spray with the right trigger, targeting crop plots.

• One spray per plot per day is sufficient to get the maximum growth speed benefit.

• If it is raining in-game, watering may not be necessary since the soil is already wet. The game's weather system directly affects farming.

• The sprayer breaks after roughly 100 uses. Craft a replacement at the smithy using Rubber.

Tips

• Pair the Field Sprayer with the Fertilizer Sprayer for best results: water accelerates growth while fertilizer increases the harvest yield.

• Rubber for replacement sprayers can be found from Rubber Tree Seeds in Engraved Wooden Boxes or obtained from scholars at institutes in exchange for Thin Hides.

• Some items in the game can change the weather, which could potentially substitute for manual watering if you can trigger rain.
