Overview

Darkness Over the Sanctum is a faction quest belonging to the Antumbra Order in Crimson Desert. This quest is part of the late-game content that involves defeating manifestations of Antumbra across multiple sanctums to unseal the Cloister of Ruination. The quest rewards an Abyss Artifact and the Vessel of Dark Pursuit, one of the strongest swords in the game.

How to Unlock

Darkness Over the Sanctum becomes available as part of the Antumbra Order faction quest progression. You must discover and reach the sanctums scattered across the world map.

The Three Seals

To progress through this quest and reach the Cloister of Ruination, you must break three seals by defeating Antumbra boss manifestations at three different sanctums:

Boss Fight Notes

• Antumbra's Staff has a deadly one-shot attack that can be avoided using Force Palm. Watch for the windup animation and dodge immediately.

• Antumbra's Sword is a challenging melee encounter at the Sanctum of Absolution.

• Antumbra's Spear must be collected after the boss is defeated to count toward seal progression.

You do not need to fully cleanse the sanctums to progress. Simply defeating each Antumbra boss is enough to break the corresponding seal.
