The Crimson Opaleye is a midsized saltwater fish in Crimson Desert. A red-scaled variant of the Opaleye unique to Pywel's coastline. Said to be tastier than its standard counterpart, making it a valued catch. It is logged in the Knowledge menu under Creatures > Aquatic Creatures once caught.

Coastal waters unique to Pywel. The Crimson Opaleye is rarer than the standard Opaleye and is distinguished by its red scales. It fetches a higher price at vendors. Once you discover this species, its location is marked in the Knowledge menu under Creatures > Aquatic Creatures. Select "Open Map" to see the exact fishing spot on your world map.
The Crimson Opaleye is rated Expert difficulty and demands strong fishing skills. Using the Fine Fishing Rod or the Pororin Fishing Rod is highly recommended. Expert fish fight aggressively, change direction sharply, and require precise tension management. Be prepared for extended tire-and-reel cycles before landing this species.
Cooking: Can be cleaned into Fish Fillet at a campfire or butchery station. Fish Fillet is the key ingredient in dishes like Fish Porridge, Battered Fish, Fish Skewers, and Grilled Meat and Fish.
