Corridor of the Void is an otherworldly area within the Abyss that players visit during the Prologue of Crimson Desert. It is the setting of the main quest Realm of Uncertainty, which picks up immediately after Kliff is defeated by Myurdin in the preceding mission. The location functions as an extended tutorial, introducing traversal mechanics like sprinting, jumping, wall climbing, and crouching through a series of platforming challenges suspended above dark water.
The area is described in-game as "the Abyss, the source of adventure where destiny unfolds. Those who are certain of where their path leads and are ready to accept fate move forward." Kliff wakes up alone in this strange, floating space with no clear explanation of how he arrived. The mood is disorienting by design; the environment is dim, the platforms are precarious, and the only way forward is through.

The Corridor of the Void consists of floating platforms suspended above dark, featureless water. Unlike the rest of Pywel, there are no trees, buildings, or recognizable landmarks here. The space feels abstract, almost dreamlike, with faint light sources guiding the player along narrow paths. Sections of the floor are unstable and collapse underfoot, forcing quick reactions.
Navigation relies on aim-assisted jumping, where Kliff locks onto a target platform before leaping. Stamina management matters even at this early stage, since wall climbing drains the stamina bar. Some passages require crouching or rolling through tight gaps, and a lantern helps illuminate darker corridors where the path forward is not immediately obvious.
The Corridor of the Void introduces the Blinding Flash ability. This technique concentrates light onto devices to activate mechanisms and unlock sealed doors. Players use it throughout the rest of the game for puzzle-solving in Abyss Dungeons and when interacting with Abyss Artifacts.

There are no combat encounters in the Corridor of the Void. The area is purely focused on platforming and traversal. The first real combat after this section comes later in the Prologue.

Sprint-jumping requires a brief tap of the sprint button followed by the jump input. Holding sprint down prevents Kliff from jumping at all.
Use the lantern in darker sections to reveal the next platform or passage.
If you fall into the water below, the game respawns Kliff at the last stable platform with no penalty.
