Overview

The Black-Maned Boar Boss is a temporary ground mount in Crimson Desert. It is the elite variant of the Black-Maned Boar family, significantly larger and more powerful than the standard or small versions. With 1,035 HP, 195 Attack, and 100 Evade, this boar boss is one of the strongest temporary mounts available among boar-type creatures.

As a boss-tier creature, the Black-Maned Boar Boss is much more difficult to subdue than regular boars. It hits harder, has more health, and its attacks are more varied.

The 195 Attack makes the Boar Boss one of the hardest-hitting temporary mounts, exceeded only by the Gristle Wolf (280) and Wyvern (324). Combined with 100 Evade (the joint highest among mounts), this boar is both lethal and evasive.

How to Obtain

The Black-Maned Boar Boss appears as a named enemy in specific areas. Subduing it requires a prolonged fight. The boss has phases; it may attempt to flee and recover during the fight, requiring the player to chase and re-engage. Come prepared with strong weapons and healing items.

Combat Riding

Once mounted, the Boar Boss is a devastating charge-oriented mount. Its forward charge can plow through groups of enemies, and the 195 Attack ensures that anything it hits takes serious damage. The 100 Evade makes it hard for enemies to land counter-attacks while you charge through their ranks.
