Alden's Request is a Hernand Commission quest in Crimson Desert. It belongs to the Faction Quests category and is given by Alden, a resident of the City of Hernand. Alden needs lumber for repairs around Hernand and asks Kliff to help gather some timber.
Like all Hernand Commissions, this quest is accepted by first reading the NPC's poster on the Commission Board in Hernand, then speaking to the quest giver in person. Completing the commission rewards a Medium Bag (+3 inventory slots) along with bonus items.

Timber can be obtained by chopping trees with a Logging Axe. If you have already completed Turnali's Request, you should have the axe and some spare timber in your inventory.
Check for trees along the river east of Hernand for quick gathering.
