The Acorn Mace is a one-handed weapon in Crimson Desert. It is a compact mace with an Attack Power of 16 and a distinctive acorn-shaped head. While the weapon does not carry any secondary stat bonuses like Critical Rate or Attack Speed, its Abyss Core slots include a pre-installed core that restores Spirit on hit, giving Kliff a way to sustain ability usage during prolonged fights.
The Acorn Mace can be picked up from the Demessian Ruins, a location north of the Steel Mountains beside the Willow River. It is a world pickup rather than a merchant or quest reward, so players who explore the ruins early can grab it for free. The mace sits in the mid-range of one-handed weapons and works well paired with a shield or a faster off-hand weapon.

The Acorn Mace is found at the Demessian Ruins, located north of the Steel Mountains and beside the Willow River. The weapon sits on top of the ruins. To reach it, climb the ruined structures until you spot the mace resting on an upper ledge. There is no enemy guarding it and no puzzle to solve; just get to the top and pick it up.
The Acorn Mace cannot be purchased from any merchant and cannot be crafted at a Blacksmith. It is a one-time world pickup, so once you loot it, that is the only copy available through this method.
The Acorn Mace supports up to 10 levels of refinement at any Blacksmith. Each refinement level increases the weapon's base Attack Power. The weapon has 3 Abyss Core slots, one of which comes pre-installed with a Spirit restoration effect. Players can remove or replace this core at a Witch vendor if they prefer a different passive bonus.
Since the mace has no innate Critical Rate or Attack Speed, players should consider slotting Abyss Cores that add one of those stats to fill in the gaps. Alternatively, keeping the Spirit restoration core and adding raw damage cores creates a build focused on sustained ability pressure.
The Spirit-on-hit core makes the Acorn Mace a natural fit for players who rely heavily on skills. Landing regular melee attacks between ability casts keeps the Spirit bar topped up, reducing downtime between bursts of damage. The weapon works especially well in extended encounters where Spirit management becomes a factor.
Pairing the Acorn Mace with a shield creates a tanky melee loadout where Kliff can block incoming damage and then counter-attack with mace swings that refill Spirit. For dual-wielding, combining the Acorn Mace in the off-hand with a faster sword in the main hand lets you benefit from the Spirit restoration passively while the sword handles most of the damage output.
