Overview

A New Beginning is the first quest in the Epilogue: Journey's End of Crimson Desert. Following the defeat of Hexe Marie in Blinding Darkness, the Abyss corruption has been sealed and Pywel can finally begin to heal. Kliff emerges from the Abyss to find a world changed by the conflict.

2. Assess the state of Pywel after the Abyss has been sealed

3. Speak with key companions about what comes next

4. Begin the journey across Pywel to address the aftermath of the conflict

Walkthrough

A New Beginning is primarily a narrative quest. After the final battle, Kliff reunites with his companions and the tone shifts to reflection and rebuilding. Explore the post-battle area, speak with your allies, and take in the quieter atmosphere. The quest sets up the remaining Epilogue missions, which involve traveling across Pywel to resolve lingering conflicts and help communities recover.

Post-Game

After completing the Epilogue, the world remains fully open. Players can continue to complete side content, faction quests, challenges, and exploration at their own pace. There is no New Game Plus mode at launch.
