Added the game's video and screenshot posting conditions
Konami issued posting guidelines for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse on September 20, 2026. They cover gameplay videos, livestreams and screenshots posted by individual players. Individuals who follow the conditions do not need to contact Konami separately.
Record the game after updating it to the latest version. Gameplay may be edited and combined with a player's face or voice. The guidelines prohibit extracting isolated music, character voices or character images; excessive edits that misrepresent the game; infringement of third-party rights; and insulting or defamatory material.
The listed platforms are Discord, Facebook, Instagram, Mirrativ, Niconico, SHOWROOM, Threads, TikTok, TwitCasting, Twitch, X, YouTube and 17LIVE. Revenue earned through a listed platform's own monetization system is permitted under the guidelines. Selling footage, paid closed streams and using gameplay to advertise another product or company are prohibited.
Do not post unpublished material obtained through modification or analysis, imply a partnership that does not exist, or repost another person's footage without permission. The rules also prohibit illegal content and posts for political, religious, defamatory or antisocial purposes. Konami may request removal and may change the guidelines. Players should check the current version before posting.
The guidelines are for individuals. The Japanese guidelines direct Japan-based corporations and organizations to a separate inquiry process. These conditions cover sharing footage; they do not alter the gameplay or save-transfer rules for the Demo.
