Announcement History
September 13, 2026 at 10:08 PM
Create the Announcement History page: the full dated sequence from the 2023 Chinese debut to the August 2026 international reveal, with staging dates separated from public reveals.
Bringer has a longer public history than its international presentation suggests. It debuted in China in August 2023, three years before the international reveal, and the concept site that introduced it to the rest of the world in August 2026 is a late stage international introduction rather than an early tease. This page lays out the dated sequence.
Date | Event |
|---|---|
6 August 2023 | First promotional video, with coverage dated 5 and 6 August. The public debut of the game, in China. The trailer carried a joint development credit naming both 墨界游戏 and 艺画开天 |
Between 2023 and 2025 | The project was substantially rebuilt, including a revision of its own in world terminology |
17 October 2025 | Recruitment opens for the first closed test, EP01 |
20 to 21 October 2025 | A worldview concept video is published, and 澄境星壹 is named as the Mainland publisher |
July 2026 | Playable demo at a Chinese games expo. Domestic playable debut |
6 August 2026 | Recruitment opens for the second closed test, EP02 |
7 August 2026 | The international concept site content window opens. Staging only, one week ahead of the public reveal. Not itself a public reveal |
13 August 2026 | International reveal. The reveal trailer is published in four language versions |
14 August 2026 | The studio announcement overview circulates internationally, naming the platforms, the engine and the coming demo showing |
26 to 30 August 2026 | Early hands on demo at a games event in Cologne, Germany. International playable debut |
28 August 2026 | The EP02 closed test begins |
13 September 2026 | State of the record used throughout this wiki |
The first promotional video appeared in early August 2023 and is the game's real starting point in public. It established the studio and its development subsidiary as the team, and it used terminology the game has since abandoned: the protagonist was 傀人 and the player was addressed as 凡星. Material from this period is still in circulation and is best treated as historical. See Development.
In October 2025 the game returned with a worldview concept video, a first closed test and a named Mainland publisher. This is the point at which the current vocabulary appears, with 海履者 replacing the two 2023 terms, and it is where the record of the game as it exists today effectively begins. The publisher named at this point, 澄境星壹, is a subsidiary of the developer. See YHKT.
The international reveal landed on 13 August 2026 with a reveal trailer running two minutes and forty eight seconds, published in four language versions covering English, Japanese, Korean and traditional Chinese. The studio announcement overview followed, carrying the platform list, the engine and the plan for a hands on demo showing later that month.
A note on one date that is easy to get wrong: the international concept site's content window opened on 7 August 2026, a week before the reveal. That is a staging date belonging to the site's own scheduling, not a public reveal, and it should not be presented as the game's announcement date. The announcement is 13 August 2026, with coverage on the 13th and 14th.
The trailer is a cinematic. It contains no gameplay, no interface and no on screen text beyond its own narration lines, which are reproduced on the Setting and Story page. As of 13 September 2026 the game's global video channel carries exactly one video and no devlogs or developer diaries of any kind.
As of 13 September 2026 there has been no release date announcement, no launch window announcement, no business model announcement, no overseas publisher announcement, no character reveal and no gameplay showcase. See Release and Platforms and Closed Tests and Public Demos.
