Familiars are artisan companions in Bloomwalker. The store pages describe them as versatile characters the player meets while traveling, each with stories of their own. They are central to Crafting because they hold the formulas and facilities the player needs. Familiars first appear in the 2026 material; the 2025 reveal did not use the term.

Role
According to the Steam store page and the PlayStation Store listing, the player talks with familiars and gives them gifts to build friendships. As friendships deepen, familiars share new formulas, facilities and crafting paths. Those facilities process the materials higgledies gather into finished goods, and some of those goods can go back to the familiars as gifts.
Familiars live in the Pocket Dimension alongside the higgledies, where the Steam store page says they eat, sleep and work. Netmarble's September 2026 release says the Tokyo Game Show 2026 trailer showed the protagonist interacting with familiars and higgledies.

What Has Not Been Announced
As of September 2026, no individual familiar had been named in any official source, and their number, appearances and stories had not been described. Whether familiars take part in exploration or Cleansing and Purification had not been stated.
Netmarble's 2025 posts named two companions, Kettlekid and the Oddlings. No source calls Kettlekid a familiar, and Kettlekid had not appeared in 2026 material as of September 2026.
