66 Consoles have been the stated plan since well before that showcase. The official FAQ answered the question directly: "We plan on releasing on PC and on next-gen consoles - Xbox Series X and PS5." In June 2025 the team confirmed it again in a community question-and-answer session, and the March 2026 appearance restated it to a much larger audience. A 2022 interview, from the period when the studio was two people, is the source of the older framing that consoles were wanted but could not be promised.

Timing is the open question: the game has no release date, and day-one cross-play details have not been announced.
