The Day and Night option changes the world's in-game time. Open the main menu and select the sun-and-moon icon in the side bar.

Choose a period and confirm to skip to it. Some creature spawns and quest interactions depend on this clock.
Skipping the clock does not change the region's real-time weather schedule. It also does not advance incubation or a quest that explicitly waits for a daily server reset.
Nimbi's Dreaple evolution objective requires resting with the Pathfinder from night to day. Keep Nimbi with the Pathfinder while changing from nighttime to daytime, either through this menu or a bonfire.
