Photo Mode becomes available after the prologue and arrival at the outpost. On PC, F7 opens it and Space takes the picture.

Position the Pathfinder before opening the camera. The camera can move freely, but relocating the Pathfinder requires leaving Photo Mode first.

Camera options include focal length, blur and blur range, saturation, brightness, contrast, lighting presets, filters, and stickers. Character visibility and Aniimo visibility can be changed separately.

Static poses hold a position. Dynamic poses use an animation that can be paused at a chosen frame. The Aniimo Emotes menu lets you summon current-party creatures and arrange their position, rotation, and pose.

A finished photograph can also be used with Pathfinder Markings to leave a message in the world.
