This page collects the faults the studio has acknowledged publicly around Aniimo’s launch, together with the workarounds published alongside them. It is a launch-window snapshot: the game went live on PC, console and Xbox cloud gaming on September 16, 2026, and everything below was published between September 14 and September 17, 2026 (UTC+8). Fixed issues are kept rather than deleted, because they explain what a player who has not patched may still be seeing. The version log itself is on Update History.
Two days before launch, on September 14, 2026, the studio published a notice devoted entirely to instability on certain 13th and 14th generation Intel Core desktop processors. It is the only known issue that got its own announcement, and the cause is attributed to a known defect in those processors rather than to anything in the game. Affected machines can show crashes, unexpected exits, freezes, graphical glitches, shader decompilation errors, out-of-video-memory errors and blue screens.
The symptom list matters because several of those failures look like a broken game rather than broken hardware. A shader decompilation error or an out-of-video-memory error on a high-end machine reads as a graphics bug, and on these processors it is not one.
Nineteen models are named. All of them are desktop parts; no mobile or laptop processor appears on the list.

Action | Detail |
|---|---|
Update the motherboard BIOS | The actual fix. The BIOS version installed needs to carry Intel microcode 0x12B or later, which is the revision that addresses the defect. Board makers ship this through their own BIOS updates. |
Lower the Performance-Core multiplier | A workaround for machines that cannot be updated yet. Reducing the P-core multiplier by two to three steps in Intel’s tuning utility, for example from 55x down to 53x, trades a little performance for stability. |
The game also ships an in-game popup for machines it detects as affected, with a button that takes the player straight to the notice, so an affected player is told rather than left to work it out from the crash pattern. None of this changes the published hardware specification on System Requirements: these processors meet and exceed it, and the issue is a defect rather than a compatibility gap.
The dominant fault on launch day was repeated disconnection and reconnection while playing, triggered when the client stuttered. It was fixed in the first patch, version 1.0.3535596.0, which was published under exactly that heading on September 17, 2026 (UTC+8) with the fixes applied during September 16.
This should not be confused with the queueing the studio warned about separately. Before the servers opened, players were told to expect login queues and slower loading while the launch crowd arrived. Those are load symptoms of a launch, not faults, and they were never listed as issues. See Launch and Reception.
Items bought on Xbox and on Xbox on PC were not being delivered to the buyer’s account. This was fixed in the same day-one patch. A purchase made in that window that still has not arrived is a support matter rather than a retry: the route is in-game support, covered on Accounts and Aniimo Pass.
These were acknowledged in the first patch notes as still open at the time of publication.
Issue | Status and workaround |
|---|---|
Sealed beta eggs | Eggs claimed through the beta farewell event carry an innate potential data fault, and the claim entry has been temporarily closed while it is repaired. Players who have not yet claimed should wait for it to reopen. See Development. |
Visual effects in Astra | Effects may display abnormally on a player’s first entry to Astra. No workaround was published. See The World of Idyll. |
Red-screen display fault | Open at the time of the notes, with switching the graphics setting to Performance Mode given as the workaround and a fix expected in the following day’s update. |
Separate black-screen guidance was published with the first patch notes, covering machines where the game reaches a black screen instead of rendering. Three steps were given, in order: update the graphics driver, try switching the client between DirectX 11 and DirectX 12, and disable DLSS and frame generation at the login screen before entering the game.
That third step is worth pairing with System Requirements, which records DLSS 4.5 support as a launch feature. The feature is supported and is not being withdrawn; turning it off at the login screen specifically was the published workaround for this fault, not a statement about the feature generally.
One black-screen fault was fixed rather than worked around: returning from the shop to the design screen produced a black screen, and that was corrected in the first patch.
Bug reports go through the in-game support entry in the menu, or the F10 hotkey on PC. The same routes handle account problems and undelivered purchases.
As of September 17, 2026 (UTC+8) no server-status page, maintenance notice or compensation notice had been published for the launch build in any of the languages the studio publishes announcements in, so there is no official uptime surface to check before reporting. The first patch notes are the only published issue tracker the game has at present.
