11Aniimo has been shown at a run of industry showcases and consumer conventions since its reveal, and several of those appearances were the first chance the public had to play it. This page collects the confirmed ones. The show ran from 26 to 30 August 2026 at the exhibition grounds in Cologne, and Aniimo had a stand in Hall 6 at booth 1C041.991010The studio used the show to announce the game's global launch dates on August 26, 2026, publishing a launch date trailer the same day. The publisher places that trailer's debut in the show's Opening Night Live broadcast, which makes it the game's first appearance on that stage. The booth programme covered hands-on gameplay, on-stand activities, daily appearances by special guests, and prize draws, with an Alienware Aurora 16 gaming laptop and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card among the named prizes.11111212This was the second Gamescom the game attended, after its 2025 appearance at the Xbox stand, and the first at which it had its own booth. In the run-up to the show, the studio also ran a giveaway on its official community server from August 13 to 19, 2026, offering seven custom Xbox controllers themed after Susuta.13131414Time to Aniimo15151616A pre-launch web event called Time to Aniimo ran from August 26, 2026 at 10:00 to September 3, 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+8). Players logged in daily to hatch Aniimo and exchange them with friends, and the reward is a Limited-Edition Profile Card Background delivered in game at global launch. The event was offered in English, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese, and rewards bind to the email address used for the event, which must match the one used to create the player's first character.17171818The event has ended. Rewards from it arrive at launch rather than during the event window.19192020Community Programmes212122-Away from the show floor, the studio has run its own broadcasts and community programmes. A livestream in January 2026 previewed the second closed beta over roughly forty minutes, and a second stream ran during the Global Closed Beta. Three further videos went up in the fortnight before release: a behind-the-scenes piece on September 2, a thank-you to Gamescom attendees on September 8, and a Twining showcase on September 10. Five more videos went up across launch week, among them a reveal for the creature Sparkelf, spotlights on Glynsera and Fahloo, a catching-themed piece, and the launch trailer announcement published at the moment the servers opened. No launch-day broadcast was held: as of September 17, 2026, the day after the PC and console launch, the official video channel's stream list still held only its two beta-era broadcasts, and the news feed carried no broadcast announcement. That was still true on September 27, 2026. Two more videos followed launch week: the Los Angeles thank-you short on September 20 and a mobile launch video on September 23.22+Away from the show floor, the studio has run its own broadcasts and community programmes. Two grand prize winners were selected, each receiving a $999 voucher, with ten runners-up at $400. The two grand prize designs were confirmed to join the game as real creatures roaming Idyll from global launch, which makes them the only player-created Aniimo in the game at release.27292830The studio has also run a long-running creature feature series introducing individual Aniimo one at a time, covering Susuta, Celestis, Baleetle, Helmut, Pomegg, Fentuft, Hummin, Skippy, Flutternym, Dewy, Budclaw, Nimbi, Shelly and Emberpup, plus Fahloo, across fifteen instalments, with further entries published only in other languages.293132+The series is titled Aniimo Observation Diary, and it continued after launch with Budsquire on September 29, Jawling on October 7 and Wisptis on October 13, 2026, reaching eighteen English instalments.33+3034The pre-registration campaign that ran alongside these events passed 30 million sign-ups before launch and 40 million by the mobile launch on September 23, 2026; see Development for its milestone rewards.31353236In-Game Events333734-In-game limited events are separate from these public appearances.
