Egg Heist and PvP

Added closed beta Egg Heist run statistics
Aniimo includes competitive and cooperative multiplayer, headlined by a player-versus-environment-versus-player mode called Egg Heist. The game is built for shared, cross-platform play, so Pathfinders on different devices can adventure and compete together.

Egg Heist takes place in the Lost Isles, a region set aside for the mode. In its core form, three-player teams race in real time to find and secure eggs while dealing with wild Aniimo and rival teams at the same time. A larger variant called Diamond Egg Heist expands the contest to six teams of three Pathfinders. Studio-published statistics from the Global Closed Beta counted more than 33,000 Egg Heist runs, with 87.7 percent of them ending in a successful extraction.
Not all multiplayer is competitive. Players can team up for cooperative boss encounters, pooling their Aniimo against tougher foes. The world also encourages players to meet and interact, both out in Idyll and in the social spaces above it. Boss Aniimo such as Bubbask and Coraliz headline these cooperative fights.
Aniimo supports a player-to-player exchange system, letting Pathfinders trade creatures with one another. With cross-platform play, these social systems connect players across PC, console, and mobile. The store listing confirms the multiplayer feature set directly: online PvP, online co-op, and cross-platform multiplayer alongside single-player, with full controller support including DualSense and DualShock pads. Exact rules, rewards, and matchmaking details have not been fully revealed.
Players are grouped onto regional servers rather than a single global shard. During the Global Closed Beta these ran as Aniimo-AP for Asia-Pacific, Aniimo-EU for Europe, and Aniimo-NA for the Americas, each on its own schedule, with no progress shared between them. Cross-play is a design pillar within a server rather than a promise to merge the regions. See Development for the test window those servers ran on.
