11 The Vulture is a boss in Alabaster Dawn. It is a large vulture-like Nuemera whose actual name is unknown; the in-game UI simply shows ?????. It is encountered in the Aurum Plains at North Bend during the Freeing Sundalan questline.

33 Several details set the Vulture apart from other Nuemera and hint at lore that has not yet been revealed. Although it appears enraged, its eye glow is a flickering violet rather than the red of Nyx energy. Partway through the fight the enrage seems to break, and instead of continuing it hesitates and then flees. During that hesitation there is a voiced silence of something saying "..." in turquoise text, the only moment a Nuemera has seemed to almost speak.

1010 The Vulture has a single attack, labeled "All out Attack!". It perches on a broken aqueduct and spits a rain of projectiles that fall to the ground below. The attack is poorly aimed, so it is easy to stand where it cannot hit rather than dodging. Attacking the Vulture rapidly fills a green break bar, and once the bar is full the Vulture flees, ending the encounter.

1414 The Vulture is intended to be impossible to defeat. A current bug lets its break bar malfunction if you wait several minutes, allowing a kill, but this changes nothing.Filia's attacks do not affect the break bar, so in theory she could "win" if Juno does nothing, though her low damage would take hours.
