11Tiran Sol is the setting of Alabaster Dawn and the continent on which Juno's campaign takes place. Marketing material describes Tiran Sol as a land overrun by a vile corruption, and that corruption is the Nyx Calamity that scoured the surface generations before the launch build's events. Most of Tiran Sol is now empty, dotted with shelters where humanity slept out the worst of the curse.2233Geography4455Only a small portion of Tiran Sol is accessible in the launch build. The map clusters around a few visited locations:6677ItemDescriptionCapitalonce the largest city of Tiran Sol. Visited only briefly during the prologue and now near-completely overrun by Nuemera.Koro Valleythe pastoral region where Juno's chapter begins. Houses Lyhamn and the Trial of Aether.Aurum Plainsthe next region in the planned Early Access roadmap. Mentioned in dialogue and as the destination of the Journey up North story arc, but not yet on the playable map.Tiran Nuaan eastern continent referenced in lore text describing the origin of certain Koro Valley crops, particularly Garrot. Not visitable in the launch build.88The Lost Lands991010The phrase Lost Lands refers in dialogue to the regions of Tiran Sol that have fallen most heavily to Nyx. The first Chronicle story, The Lost Lands, takes its name from this concept. From Silver Peak at the end of Koro Valley, Juno can see north into a stretch of the Lost Lands, with the implication that they cover most of Tiran Sol's northern reaches and contain a cluster of unwoven Nests. Reclaiming the Lost Lands is a long-term goal of the campaign.11111212Pre-Calamity Society13131414Before Nyx, Tiran Sol was home to a civilization that lived in close partnership with the gods. Lore fragments scattered through the launch build hint at three eras:15151616ItemDescriptionThe Age of the Firstbornthe earliest documented era, when the original divine pantheon was directly active in the world. Vasia, Basil, and the Twin God Libra are all attributed to this age.The Age of the Secondborna later era when divine intervention was less direct but still visible. Phos, the merchant god whose lore is referenced on the Tireless Boulder gem, lived during this period. The Calamity and afterthe moment Nyx descended, the gods retreated, and humanity sealed itself underground in shelters. The launch build's main story takes place generations after the Calamity, when Juno awakens.1717Many lore fragments suggest that the divine pantheon's pre-Calamity culture was rich enough to leave behind multiple traditions, including the Chosen system, the artificers who craft gems, and the cooking and palate-level traditions still present in Lyhamn.18181919Tiran Sol After The Calamity20202121In the present day, Tiran Sol's surface is dangerous. Nuemera infest most regions; food chains have collapsed; many settlements stand abandoned. Restoring the surface is the central gameplay loop of Alabaster Dawn, framed as a slow accumulation of victories that gradually returns nature, trade routes, and population to the cleansed regions. The Wellspring tradition, which places a sacred tree-and-pool in each settlement, is one of the visible signs of the gradual rebuild.22222323See Also24242525Nyx CurseCapitalKoro ValleyWellspring
