11The Testudo Irae is an enraged variant of the Testudo, encountered as the final boss of the current demo. It is fought in the Trial of Aether and has upgraded versions of the basic Testudo's attacks plus an HP-break exclusive attack.2233Levels Encountered4455TypeEncounteredLevelHPEXPTestudo IraeTrial of Aether8600025666Combat7788For the Aether orb attack and the spinning attack, the Testudo Irae walks toward Juno first, releases a surge of energy that damages an area around it, and summons two rocky projectiles that circle above its head. It shoots one projectile at Juno, performs the basic attack, then shoots the other projectile. Both rocky projectiles can be countered to deal break damage.991010For Breaker Stomp, the Testudo Irae jumps twice in a row instead of once. Several rocks also fall from the ceiling after the first jump, dealing damage if they hit Juno.11111212While broken, the Testudo Irae performs only the standard Aether orb attack, not the version with the additional rocky projectiles.13131414At 50% HP, the Testudo Irae has an HP Break. It immediately recovers from being broken, then performs a second special attack, Ultra Stomp. It jumps high into the air and lands far from Juno, then summons falling rocks from the ceiling and immediately follows with a rocky projectile. It repeats the rock-and-projectile cycle four times. The projectiles are still counterable, but it may be easier to dodge them given how the falling rocks clutter the arena. Ultra Stomp is performed only once per fight; the Testudo Irae returns to its standard attack rotation afterward.15151616The Testudo Irae drops Testudo Essence always.17171818See Also19192020NuemeraTestudoTrial Of Aether
