Added the Spring Trial optional dungeon to the sub-locations table
11Koro Valley is the primary explorable region of Alabaster Dawn's launch Early Access build and the home of Juno. It serves as Chapter 1's hub region: the central village Lyhamn anchors the settlement rebuilding loop, the surrounding zones host the early side quests and Nuemera encounters, and the Trial of Aether dungeon at the valley's edge unlocks the first elemental power outside Juno's starter.2233Sub-Locations445-PlaceTypeNotesLyhamnVillage (hub)Juno and Filia's home village. Chapter 1's main quest Unyielding Solidarity introduces Estera o' Marmis and starts the rebuild of Lyhamn, branching into:9910101111Branching Out: gather Quickwood from the Red Forest for Lyhamn's reconstruction.Rice to the Occasion: rebuild the rice fields tied to Old Kamu Village.Blooming Village: clear an early Nuemera incursion threatening the rebuilt fields.A Sneak Peek: climb Silver Peak and survey the valley.12121313These side quests gate the introduction of Ortrom Solas and Fain Solas, and most of them double as tool tutorials: the hammer is taught through rock-breaking, and the chakrams are taught through object-puzzle interactions.14141515Notable NPCs16161717Estera o' Marmis. Settlement coordinator in Lyhamn. Hands out the rebuild quest chain and tracks progress as the village physically transforms.Penterson. Head carpenter. Source of construction tasks; finishing his commissions adds new structures to Lyhamn.Orlanda. Chief farmer based out of Old Kamu Village. Drives the rice and food chain side quests.Petros. Village smith. Provides early gear upgrades and the first stop for combat tuning before the Trial of Aether.Filia. A Lyhamn villager close to Juno; appears in Chapter 1's opening dialogue as Juno first reorients to the surface.Remis. A god whose remnant or echo appears in Koro Valley dialogue. The first divine voice Juno encounters after waking.Cabbage. The Water Pig companion. Travels with Juno from the prologue into Koro Valley and supports specific puzzle and traversal moments.181819192020Threats21212222Koro Valley is mostly cleared of advanced Nuemera at the start of Chapter 1, with smaller infestations reappearing as quests progress. Standard Nuemera, faster Enraged variants, and ranged Wasp Nuemera are all encountered here, with the Trial of Aether housing more dangerous elemental variants. The boss Inferna Vespa is encountered in the prologue, during Dahmon's segment.232324242525Travel and Map26262727Koro Valley is fully unlocked for fast travel as the player completes the early Lyhamn quests. The world map supports adjustable hint intensity, fast-travel checkpoints, and objective markers, making it easy to clear the side-quest list before pushing into Chapter 2.28282929From Koro Valley, Chapter 2 progresses northward beyond Silver Peak. The Early Access launch build ends partway through that next region; Koro Valley remains the home base players return to for crafting, cooking, and gear adjustments.30303131Map List32323333The currently accessible portion of Koro Valley breaks into a chain of smaller maps. The first four can only be visited in their corrupted state, since a cutscene blocks backtracking once the Nest is woven and the curse is lifted. The full map list:34343535Cliff-Side Shelter (with sub-rooms Awaking Chamber and Cargo Hold)Median DivideOld Kamu Village (with paths to the north and west still locked)Fossil RoadLumber CornerLyhamn ShelterForked RoadReaver's End (entry visible, but blocked by a barrier)Impact SiteRed ForestHollow Incline (one path south locked)Silver Peak36363737Old Kamu Village hosts a Waysprout. Lumber Corner has both a quick-travel point and a cooking pot, available after the Nest is woven. Silver Peak's quick-travel point is technically unlocked at the end of the A Sneak Peak subquest, but the game immediately jumps from there to the Trial of Aether, so it cannot currently be used as a normal travel target.38383939Later Access Areas40404141Beyond the chain of maps reachable during Chapter 1, several parts of Koro Valley only open up later, and a few are entered from outside the valley entirely. The region as a whole is laid out as two large loops with side paths branching off them, so most of these places connect back into ground Juno has already walked rather than extending outward.42424343PlaceTypeAccessEternal SpringSpring and shrineA large spring at the centre of the valley, sealed behind a Divine Seal. It opens only after Juno has visited the Aurum Plains and recovered a Fulcrum Mark there. The area is heavily overrun with Nyx until it is cleansed, and it holds a Waysprout and a landmark.Spring TrialOptional mini-dungeonAn optional Hall of Trials inside Eternal Spring, entered during the Temple Incursion story to cleanse the area. Its southeastern corner is cut off from the rest and can be reached much earlier, linking Lumber Corner to a hidden room inside the trial.Hotspring CaveOptional mini-dungeonThe valley's second optional mini-dungeon. Its Foggy Lair section is visited during the Spring's Return questline.Lake VasiaLakeside areaA lakeside stretch west of Patron's Grave, opened up during the Free the Fish story.Patron's GraveLandmarkSits east of Lake Vasia and anchors that side of the valley.Remis RockDetached areaCounted as part of Koro Valley but reached mainly through the Trial of Aether. The only place in the valley where Muse Mint shrubs grow.Remis PeakDetached areaAlso reached mainly through the Trial of Aether rather than from the valley floor.Grand PassageDetached areaCurrently reachable only from the north, entering from the Aurum Plains side.4444During the Lost Lands opening, only the linear route from Cliff-Side Shelter to Impact Site can be walked. The rest of the valley becomes reachable after the Lyhamn Nest is woven and the curse lifts, which is why so much of the treasure list above is flagged as corrupted-state or uncorrupted-state only.45454646Treasures Found In Koro Valley47474848ContentsMapNotesWhisper of the Gods x2Forked RoadAvailable only in the uncorrupted version of the map.Dim HaloLyhamn ShelterSpawns after the mandatory Nuemera fight during Unyielding Solidarity.Bent EdgeLumber CornerUncorrupted only.Ruff EdgeLumber CornerNot intended to be obtainable until Fossil Road opens; reachable only with glitches in the launch build.Shaggy QuillLumber CornerReached from the south side of the river.Whisper of the Gods x4Hollow InclineOpen chest.Fickle QuillHollow InclineOpen chest.Whisper of the Gods x3Silver PeakCurrently inaccessible: blocked by a timeskip cutscene.Tireless BoulderSilver PeakCurrently inaccessible: blocked by a timeskip cutscene.4949Nuemera Roster50505151NuemeraRoleSpheraRespawning trash mob throughout the valley.TurriRespawning ranged stationary enemy on high ledges.VespaRespawning aerial enemy.Custo TurriRespawning shielded flower with a heavy projectile.EriciusScripted encounters; later acts as a recurring miniboss.Arma SpheraScripted encounter near the Hammer; armored, weak to Blunt.TestudoScripted encounter at Silver Peak.Aranea MuMid-zone miniboss, encountered partway through the corrupted valley.Inferna VespaBoss; guards the Nest near Lyhamn.Nyx Avatar ("A Challenger?")End-of-Chapter 1 closing boss; a duel-styled humanoid Nuemera.5252Foraging In Koro Valley53535454ForageableDropsPullu SproutPullu Essence (often)Garrot PlantGarrotRing Herb BloomRing Herb (often)Nyx River FernFern Essence (often)Tete NestTete Egg x2-3Prapple TreePrapple x5-8Scorchili PlantScorchili x2-4Carota GrowthCarota Essence (often)5555Role In The Chronicle56565757The Lost Lands: Juno awakens in the Cliff-Side Shelter and travels through the corrupted valley to Lyhamn. After reaching the Nest at Impact Site, she defeats its guardian and weaves it, lifting the curse from the area.Unyielding Solidarity: Juno returns to a restored Koro Valley to help Lyhamn's residents. This story branches into the Branching Out (quickwood / Hammer reward), Rice to the Occasion (rice fields), Blooming Village (clear Nyx threat to the north), and A Sneak Peak (climb Silver Peak / Chakram reward) subquests.Branching Out: Penterson asks Juno to free the south quickwood forests; she travels there, defeats the local Nuemera, and the gods award her the Hammer Ortrom Solas.A Sneak Peak: Juno climbs Silver Peak after a timeskip, picking up the Chakram Fain Solas en route, and looks out over the Lost Lands to the north.Unyielding Solidarity (continued): after another timeskip, Juno encounters the Nyx Avatar boss north of Lyhamn and defeats it with assistance from Filia.
