11The Aranea Mu is an enemy in Alabaster Dawn. It is a large, armored spiderlike Nuemera, although it only has four legs.2233One Aranea Mu is encountered partway through the corrupted Koro Valley, where it serves as a miniboss.445+A stronger, optional-boss version called the Aranea Antrum is fought at the Spring Trial mini-dungeon during the Temple Incursion side quest, using tougher versions of the same attacks.6+57Stat Block6879TypeEncounteredLevelHPEXP at levelAranea MuKoro Valley34100229810Combat9111012The Aranea Mu cycles between three attacks:11131214Leg swing: one leg swings in an arc in front of it. This move can be parried, which causes the Aranea Mu to immediately swing again. Parrying the second swing does not trigger a third.Leg stab: it lunges forward and stabs the ground with one of its legs.Body slam: it walks slowly toward Juno and slams its body to the ground, generating a wide shockwave.13151416Break Behavior15171618When broken, the Aranea Mu slumps to the ground stunned and takes extra damage for several seconds. Once it recovers, it performs a special attack: it walks toward Juno, stomping the ground with each step. Each stomp creates a small shockwave. After following Juno around like this for a while, it returns to its three standard attacks.17191820Tips19212022Lean into the leg swing parry. Two clean parries chain into break damage faster than dodging the same sequence.During the body slam wind-up, the Aranea Mu walks slowly, leaving a long window to land hits. Use it to cycle Bogha Solas charge shots or a Blunt combo if the Hammer is ready.Stay mobile after the break. The post-break stomp pattern walks toward Juno with a small shockwave per stomp, so back-step it on a rhythm rather than panic-dodging.
