Academic Year

Witchbrook's academic year is the game's calendar spine. Classes, exams, seasonal events, and NPC schedules in Mossport all run against the same underlying year clock.

Semesters and Exams

The year is broken into semesters with regular exams. Passing early exams is a prerequisite for unlocking advanced disciplines like Arcane Arts, so performance in class is not just cosmetic.

Seasons

Mossport's four seasons change the city visibly. Residents shed mittens as the winter snowfall melts, spring flowers bloom, summer brings sun hats, and so on. Each season has its own festivities and seasonal events that NPCs attend as part of their routines.
