Brethren ships are true sea fortresses, thanks to their exceptionally sturdy hulls and spacious holds. The trade-off is speed: a Brethren Brig is slower than the Stock Brig and far slower than the Blackbeard Brig, but it absorbs hits the lighter variants cannot.
