Like every comfort structure it must sit inside the Bonfire range to count, where it adds +1 to the Pier comfort category. Because bonuses in a single category do not stack, one crane is enough to claim that point; pair it with other Piers pieces such as the Pier Winch, Pier Flagpole, and Pier Canopy to dress a finished dockyard rather than to raise comfort further.
