3838 Hull colors are stored per ship, so each vessel in your fleet can wear a different paint scheme. Once the Style Book is read the Kraken Ink option stays unlocked permanently for that character and reappears every time you open the customization menu at the Wharf. The dark Blackbeard-style finish pairs naturally with the Brig and other captured Blackbeard hulls.
