1111 Jokes of the Gods begins at a stone altar in the Cursed Swamps. Examining the first altar starts the quest and reveals a marker pointing to the next one. There are three altars in total, set out across the swamp, and each one you read points you toward the following site until the legend is complete.

1313 Because the route runs through flooded ground, expect Crocodile packed around each altar. Pull them a few at a time toward open ground rather than wading into a cluster, and carry plenty of healing before you set out.

5252 Reading the final part of the legend springs an ambush. The beast is the Itzeltek Sentinel, a level 15 miniboss crocodile whose moveset mirrors a standard Crocodile: lunging bites and a tail sweep at close range. Sidestep the lunge, punish the recovery, and keep your stamina up so you can dodge rather than trade. Defeating it closes the quest.
