55 Recipe Papers are looted in the world: most often from chests in pirate camps, ruins in the Coastal Jungle, and Points of Interest scattered across the archipelago. Some merchants in Tortuga also rotate a small selection of plans through their stock. The paper is consumed when it is read. Reading the paper adds the listed entry to the relevant crafting station recipe list permanently for that character, with no further fee.

Like other Beds, it lets you set your revival point so you respawn there on death, and it must be placed under a roof. Building it calls for high-tier materials such as hardwood, iron, and high-tier fabric.

Comfort raises your stamina pool and, more importantly, its recovery rate, feeding the Rested buff. Comfort does not stack within the same category, so the game counts variety of categories rather than duplicate beds: a second bed of the same type adds nothing. There is no sleep or time-skip system in the current build, so a bed cannot be used to pass the night; its value is the revival point and the Comfort it adds to a room.
