11 Common Sails is a baseline sails design in Windrose, applied at a player-built Wharf to set a ship's canvas to plain off-white linen with visible patches. It is the default sails design that Ships fly when no other design has been added through Ship Customization.

Every sails design in Windrose is purely cosmetic, so the choice is about appearance and the visual signal a ship sends to other crews at sea rather than any sailing advantage.
