112233The Brethren of the Coast Trade Goods Merchant is the Brethren of the Coast faction's source for the eight standard cargo categories: Contraband, Luxuries, Medicine, Munitions, Naval Supplies, Provisions, Specialized Tools, and Spirits. Stock is identical to the Trade Goods Merchants of the other three factions, and prices are flat per unit regardless of player level. This vendor is the supply side of the Merchant Contracts loop: buy goods here, run them across the map, and sell to a contract holder for profit and reputation.4455Location6677The Brethren of the Coast Trade Goods Merchant is stationed at the Brethren of the Coast Main Base. The vendor stands close to the faction's Provisioner and Bounty Agents at the same camp, so a single visit can cover all three NPCs. Travel to the main base requires sailing access and, in most cases, a faction quest first contact: see Brethren of the Coast for the route in.8899Currency10101111This NPC settles transactions in Piastres. See Trading and Merchants for how the two currencies interact.12121313Buy Stock14141515Items the Brethren of the Coast Trade Goods Merchant sells to you. Reputation matters because the cargo you run on contracts raises your standing with the holding faction, and that standing unlocks the cosmetic and gear stock at the Provisioner beside this vendor. Faction Reputation in Windrose opens in four ranks at the following thresholds:21212222ReputationStandingWhat It Affects0NeutralTrade Goods Merchant cargo already available; base Provisioner stock.100Tier 1First reputation rank; opens the earliest gated Provisioner stock for the faction.400Tier 2Mid reputation rank; unlocks further Provisioner cosmetics and plans.1000Tier 3Top reputation rank; unlocks the highest faction Provisioner stock.2323Cargo bought here is reputation-neutral by itself; the reputation comes from delivering that cargo on a contract held by the Brethren of the Coast or another faction.24242525Tips26262727Cargo prices at every faction Trade Goods Merchant are identical, so distance to the destination contract dictates which Trade Goods Merchant you start at, not the price tag.Mix cargoes by route. A long sail tends to want denser high-Piastre cargo (Luxuries at 200, Munitions at 200, Specialized Tools at 200), while a short milk run can absorb a load of Provisions or Medicine at 50 each.Reputation gating only applies to the Provisioner stock, not to Trade Goods Merchants. Even at Neutral standing you can buy from the Brethren Trade Goods Merchant on day one.28282929Sibling Trade Goods Merchants30303131The other three faction Trade Goods Merchants carry the same eight cargoes at the same flat prices:32323333Smugglers of Port Royal Trade Goods MerchantPeople of Tortuga Trade Goods MerchantRogue Buccaneers Trade Goods Merchant34343535See Also36363737Brethren of the CoastBrethren of the Coast Main BaseTrading and MerchantsFaction ReputationMerchant ContractsProvisionerTortuga Buyer38383939Game Data40404141Buys42424343ItemQtyPriceContraband1Piastre x100Luxuries1Piastre x200Medicine1Piastre x50Munitions1Piastre x200Naval Supplies1Piastre x100Provisions1Piastre x50Specialized Tools1Piastre x200Spirits1Piastre x100
