Scoped the player-count and feature negatives to the store page and official announcements
Wild Wild Eden can be played solo or with others online. The press release lists the player count as one player up to a maximum that had not been decided, and as of October 2026 no maximum has been confirmed on the store page or in the game's official announcements.
The spec sheet in the July 2026 press release gives the player count as one player up to an undecided maximum number of simultaneous players, with online multiplayer supported. Materials from the 2023 PROJECT SURVIVAL reveal listed different figures for the earlier build; those are recorded on Development History and do not apply to the current game.
Category | Listed on Steam |
|---|---|
Single-player | Yes |
Multi-player | Yes |
Co-op | Yes |
Online Co-op | Yes |
LAN Co-op | Yes |
Family Sharing | Yes |
The store page lists these categories but does not explain how LAN co-op or Family Sharing will work.
The press release says: "In online multiplayer, every player can forge their own role within the world." It gives two examples: a master breeder raising generations of exceptional companions, or a visionary architect creating structures that reshape the landscape. See Breeding and Building.
The press release describes teaming up with friends "to build sprawling settlements and thriving communities". The Japanese trailer description lists survival that supports both solo and multiplayer play.
Both the minimum and recommended requirements on Steam list a broadband internet connection. The store page does not say whether solo play needs one. See System Requirements.
As of October 2026, the following have not been confirmed on the store page or in the game's official announcements:
The maximum number of players in one world
Whether dedicated servers will be available
Whether players can visit each other's worlds
Whether any player-versus-player mode exists
