Pick-up items in Warhammer Survivors are scattered around faction-themed light sources on each stage. They can clear wide areas of enemies or heal the champion in a tight spot. Pick-ups depend on the universe you are playing: a few behave similarly in both, but most are unique to their universe. Auroch Digital detailed them in its Feature Focus series in August 2026.
Pick-Up | Effect |
|---|---|
Frag Grenade | One of several grenade pick-ups; also the Legend of Catachan's base weapon |
Melta-Bomb | A powerful grenade that releases a blast of thermal energy after a short delay, so enemies can be lured into its radius |
Blast Template | Lands on the screen and triggers a massive explosion that destroys every enemy on screen; some enemies resist instant-kill effects |
Hellfire Ammo | Temporarily raises the damage of all ranged attacks and inflicts the Poisoned status effect |
The Blast Template is a nostalgic nod to the 6th edition of the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game. Hellfire Ammo represents the acid-filled bolter rounds used by Sternguard Veterans such as Malum Caedo.
Pick-Up | Effect |
|---|---|
Purple Sun of Shyish | Once fully manifested, creates damaging zones that hit anything in its light, including the player, then flies off screen |
Ravenak's Gnashing Jaws | Tethers to the player and bites nearby enemies in whichever direction you move, dealing damage and applying Burning |
Suffocating Gravetide | Crashes into enemies and stuns them, then makes struck enemies flee for a short time |
The developer hinted that there may be a way to keep the Purple Sun of Shyish at your side for longer, but said the answer would have to wait until launch.
Frenzon is a pick-up that gives the player the Berserk status, which increases how often weapons attack. An earlier May 2026 post linked Frenzon to the Frenzied effect; the August 2026 Feature Focus describes it as granting Berserk. See Status Effects.
As of October 2026, Auroch Digital has shown only some pick-ups. Healing is mentioned as one thing pick-ups can do, but no healing pick-up had been named as of October 2026. Weapons and their evolutions are covered separately in Weapons and Evolutions.
