Thora is a Vaultbreakers hero who appeared in the January 31, 2025 playable test. The October 2026 Demo excludes Thora; the hero is announced for the upcoming October 2026 Alpha Test.

Announced October Alpha changes

The October 8, 2026 changes below are for the upcoming test build. They do not describe a hero selectable in the current demo.

Zealous Onslaught	Grants 1% armor and magic resistance per 1% health missing. Recovers wounds equal to 1% of missing maximum health each second.
Earthquake	Recovers wounds equal to 30% of missing maximum health.
Retaliate	Taking damage causes an explosion dealing Attack Damage around the hero, with a 2-second cooldown.

Stat, ability, or perk	Announced October test change
Spin	Damage scaling changes from Ability Power to Attack Damage plus health.
Rager Dash	Requires 40 Ability Power for one additional charge.
Arctic Embrace	Adds five Fury Strikes and damage equal to 5% of maximum health.
Swift Favour	Attack speed decreases from 100% to 60%.
Earthquake	Critical Chance duration decreases from 7 seconds to 5 seconds.
Base Attack Damage	Decreases from 76 to 70.
Focus Stack	Added damage increases from 20% to 25%.
Arctic Embrace retaliation	Deals damage equal to 5% of maximum health to attackers; cooldown decreases from 30 seconds to 3 seconds.
Leap of Legend	Base magic damage and Ability Power scaling increase.
Avalanche Cleave	New name for the Rager Whirl item ability.

Zealous Onslaught no longer grants movement speed in this update.

February test ability

The February 11, 2026 test introduced Rager Dash as Thora's evasive ability, with Whirlwind available through a perk.
