11 The Community Center is a civic restoration project in Melino, the launch town of Paralives. It sits in the Old Town area, in the ruins of an old building that has been overgrown with vegetation, and townsfolk are working to rebuild it into a functioning community space. Only the single remaining tower of the original ruins still stands; its trapdoor is non-functional. The building resembles a ruined cathedral and sits opposite the Hospital on the town map. 55 The Community Center's central mechanic is a donation-driven restoration. Townsfolk are building the community center in the ruins of the historic building and ask the household for donations to start and advance the project. A Parafolk can interact with books located inside the ruins; these books list what the community needs and let the player fulfill those requirements.

1414 The Community Center has no fixed opening hours and can be accessed at any time. Because the town is a seamless open world with no loading screens, a Parafolk can walk straight up to the ruins and interact with the donation books without a transition.
