I finally got my farm looking decent after a lot of trial and error with the Terraforming tool and building placement. Current setup:
- Main crop field (6x8) with Quality Sprinklers covering the whole area
- Chicken coop and duck house on the east side near the pond
- Cow barn and sheep pen on the north hill with auto-feeders
- Jam Maker, Pickling Jar, and Brewing Barrel in a processing shed
- Small orchard with 12 fruit trees (mix of apple, peach, and orange)
The key insight for me was leaving room for paths between buildings. It makes the daily run so much more efficient when you're not zigzagging around misplaced structures.
Would love to see what other people are doing with their farms!
