Visser

Visser is a senior figure in the Infinite Coil and one of Kundri Fathom's most trusted lieutenants. Where Fathom is the cult's mind, Visser is the one who leads it into battle, and he is among the enemies Zero Company runs into repeatedly across the campaign.

Role in the Coil

Visser is described as a fearsome tactician and a fearsome combatant, a combination that makes him a threat both on the field and in how a Coil force is arranged before a fight starts. He often takes the front himself rather than directing from a distance, which is what separates him from Typhon, the droid that coordinates rather than fights alongside the line.

Like every member of the cult, Visser carries the Shadow Plague. The Coil treats infection as membership, so his standing inside it is inseparable from the disease that defines it.

A Code of Honor

The detail the published profile singles out is that Visser keeps a code. He has been known to spare prisoners, or to release them, where other Coil leaders would not extend that mercy. That is unusual in an organisation built around spreading a plague through vulnerable populations, and it is the one thing that marks him out as a character rather than a rank.

It also cuts against the way the rest of the Coil is presented. Factions and Enemies describes the cult as a growing threat that gains ground every cycle it is left alone; a lieutenant who lets people go is a friction inside that, not an expression of it.

Visser is original to STAR WARS Zero Company and has no history elsewhere in the franchise. Anything the game does not show is not established about him.

One spelling note. Official material briefly published his name as "Vissier" before settling on Visser, which is the form used across the enemy profiles and the one this wiki follows.
