Star Trek: Shadow Frontier is developed by Bloober Team and published by Paramount Games. It was revealed in June 2026 and is in development for release in 2027.
A Horror Studio Meets Star Trek
Bloober Team is a Polish studio known for atmospheric psychological horror, and the game brings that sensibility to the Star Trek universe. Studio head Piotr Babieno described the project as the result of pairing the team's passion for the franchise with what it does best, saying that by combining that passion with horror, the studio partnered with Paramount to create something truly unique.
Paramount Games framed the collaboration as a careful match of strengths. Shawn Kittelsen, who leads creative and production at Paramount Games, said the publisher had long admired the way Bloober Team crafts deeply immersive, atmospheric experiences that keep players on the edge of their seats.
