SILENT HILL: Townfall - The Dock House is a short comic story published as a companion to SILENT HILL: Townfall. Konami announced it on September 10, 2026, two weeks before the game's release, and describes it as an official narrative companion to the game rather than part of it. It is written by the game's own writer and director, Jon McKellan.

It runs inside 2000 AD Prog 2500, a milestone issue of the long-running British weekly anthology comic. 2000 AD is published by Rebellion.

The comic is a prequel set in St. Amelia, the island town the game takes place on. It follows Douglas, a veteran harbour master who has spent decades maintaining the town's dock house. Konami's description puts him in an endless routine, surrounded by fog and isolation, until he finds an impossible staircase descending beneath the harbour and has to face what is underneath the town.

Konami frames the story as offering a different perspective on the island community while leaving the game's own mysteries intact.
The comic is companion media. Douglas is its protagonist, not a character who has been confirmed to appear in the game, and the staircase beneath the harbour has not been shown or described as a location the player visits. Nothing in the comic is recorded on this wiki as in-game content, and none of it should be read as confirming anything about how the game plays or what it contains. The game's own confirmed locations are on St. Amelia and Shorefront.
McKellan has said he is interested in readers discovering the story's connection to the game, so a link exists, but what it is has not been stated.
McKellan on writing it: "It's incredibly exciting to expand the world of SILENT HILL: Townfall with a new short story, and a personal milestone for me as a writer to get a chance to contribute to an issue! It feels especially fitting for a game set in the UK to feature in a UK national treasure like 2000 AD, and watching David bring the words to life has been a joy."
2000 AD editor in chief Matt Smith, on the partnership: "The atmospheric horrors of SILENT HILL are a great fit for 2000 AD, so when we were approached to publish a special tie-in story for SILENT HILL: Townfall, it was something I knew the readers would thoroughly enjoy immersing themselves in, and with David Roach on art duties, it's an especially moody, eerie piece that works as a standalone chiller."
